And so it begins...

This year, as one of my new year's resolutions, (yes, I know, I'm over two months late on fulfilling this) I decided to start a blog.

Why? The reason is twofold. Firstly, I wanted to have an outlet for my random thoughts and writing that I wouldn't otherwise post on the internet (via Facebook or Twitter or the like). Second, I wanted a place where I could network with other people who share similar interests and generate in-depth discussions about the topics that I find most exciting. Especially ones having to do with the interests I posted in the "My Interests" section.

Here's hoping for some relative success in this new endeavor!
