A belated congratulations

To Egypt. Congratulations on being a shining example of how when things aren't right with your government, you can change it without violence (or, y'know, with as little violence as possible).

Learn from the past and don't let this turn ugly, Egypt. You've only just begun.

  1. i don't know, look at most regime changes in the middle east and Africa, it seems like it always ends up being more of the same and puppets of western nations that end up in charge. Bloody revolutions are the only ones that last...unfortunately.

  3. i am hopeful that it will lead to a permanent stable democracy but history ha sshown this is not normally the case it is up to them to rally behind freedom as they have shown that they are more then able to.

  4. Sieger is right, the politicians in Washington are probably very happy to know that Egypt is up for grabs. Democracy doesn't work when you have a country like the US watching over them all the time, leave them be and they will figure it out, bloody revolution or not.

  7. I have to agree, actually. It's not too often that a nation will finally decide it's had enough bullshit
